Our renowned Become Your School’s Resident Inspector training course is updated every time there are changes to the school inspection handbook. Demand for this course has recently focused on ‘in-house’ provision for a MAT or other group of schools – a cost-effective way for senior or middle leaders across a trust to access the training.

Developed by experienced senior Ofsted inspectors, this one-day training course will provide you with the information you need to ensure that you understand what to expect from an inspection under the Education Inspection Framework.
Building upon the latest school inspection handbook, the course has been designed to ensure that participants understand the key changes to the new framework, with a particular focus on deep dives.

The day will include:
- Preparing for the 90 minutes phone call – have you got all the necessary information ready for this?
- How senior leaders can influence and manage the process for the deep dive element of the inspection.
- Ensuringand assuring a quality curriculum for each subject. Are your curriculum leaders ready to work alongside inspectors on the deep dive?
- What to expect from visits to lessons, book scrutiny and pupil discussion.
- What teachers will be expected to demonstrate in terms of the content and sequencing of learning within their subject.
