Rob has held advanced skills teacher and senior positions in secondary schools, local authority advisory roles. Rob holds a degree in music and a masters degree in educational multimedia and e-learning and is a fluent Spanish speaker. Rob was a GCSE principal examiner for 12 years and founder of the music teacher’s resource site in 1994 which still receives over 100,000 online visits each month.
Rob was principal of a teacher training partnership for 6 years before becoming an education consultant in 2004. Rob has been a lead inspector since 2008 and has led around 300 Ofsted inspections in primary, secondary, special and independent schools. He is an accredited enhanced SEN inspector and a DfE Education Adviser. Rob undertakes quality assurance work for various multi academy trusts and is in demand as a consultant on teaching and learning and how to use achievement data effectively. Rob has been a Senior Consultant with B11 Education for seven years.
